STATEMENT ON 2020 EUROPEAN CONVENTION

Further to the many questions we have received with regards to the 2020 European Convention and on behalf of KI-EF President Chris Decorte, please find below the following statement:

Registrations for the 53rd European Convention momentarily unavailable

Whilst the European convention is still set for June 5-7, KI-EF’s Executive Committee has decided to put the registrations on hold until 15th April 2020 (Easter weekend).
Together with the Host Committee, the Executive Committee will continue to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and assess its potential impact on the European convention. The health and safety of our members is Kiwanis International’s top priority. Further information will be given by mid-April.

Thanking you for your cooperation and understanding in these particular circumstances. Take good care of yourself and your loved ones!

53rd European Convention

This year, Kiwanis International-European Federation will hold its annual convention in Brugge, capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium and a UNESCO World Heritage City.

Aside from the official program comprised of workshops, meeting the candidates and the House of Delegates, a series of optional activities will guide visitors through the wonders of medieval Brugge, the Zwin Nature Parc, the Belgian coast and the historic battlefields of Ypres.

Be amazed by the wonders of Brugge. With a well-preserved medieval city centre, canals cutting through parts of the city with grand houses lining the roads on their edge, Brugge is sometimes called  T  he Venice of the North . The swans on the water and the horse drawn carriages in the lanes add to the enchantment. Discover the sound and sights of Brugge!

Come to the convention in Brugge to have your say in shaping the future of our organisation during the business sessions of the convention but also to celebrate friendship with Kiwanians from many different countries.
